Google Book on iPhone – Google has launched Google Book Search for mobile phone, 1.5 million public domain books it had scanned and made available free on personal computers were now accessible on iPhone or Android mobile phone, unlike the desktop version of Google Book Search, which displays scanned images of book pages, the mobile version simply displays text, it’s make loading faster and the books have been optimized to be read on a small screen.
Acording Google Book Search Team :
…Our solution to make these books accessible is to extract the text from the page images so it can flow on your mobile browser just like any other web page. This extraction process is known as Optical Character Recognition (or OCR for short).
If you have an iPhone or Android mobile phone you can now access the ebooks for free, to access Google Book from your iPhone just open up your web browser in your iphone or Android phone and go to books.google.com/m
