Undo sent email in Gmail it’s now possible ! Google has added an Undo Send feature to Gmail, to enable this feature login to Gmail, go to Settings, and then the Lab, scroll down and you’ll see Undo sent feature, just Enable it, and now you’re have “panic button” when you sending an email. Undo Sent option will appear when your email has been sent (2-3 second delay after sent). How long you can undo sent an email after sending? according to Google, you got 5 seconds to UNDO that Sent mail, after the 5 second, the Undo option disappears and you can just view the message.
This feature can’t pull back an email that’s already gone; it just holds your message for five seconds so you have a chance to hit the panic button. And don’t worry – if you close Gmail or your browser crashes in those few seconds, we’ll still send your message.
Remember, it can’t pull back email that already sent and undo sent email option only give you 5 second to unsend, so always best to make sure you think carefully before you click send.
