RIM has launched application store for BlackBerry, BlackBerry App World. At the BlackBerry App Store you can download the system for free. There are a host of free apps to get started with, while paid apps start at $2.99, payable through PayPal. RIM expects approximately 1,000 free and paid applications to be posted by partners this week. To access BlackBerry App Store, point your mobile browser to mobile.blackberry.com or www.blackberry.com/appworld from your computer computer to download the BlackBerry App World client. BlackBerry App World is immediately available to BlackBerry smartphone users in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada, with more country launches to follow. BlackBerry App World is available for BlackBerry smartphones with a trackball or touch-screen running BlackBerry device software 4.2 or higher.
