On my previous post I write How to Disable and Remove Most Visited in Google Chrome, now I’ll show you how to disable images or disable load images automatically in Google chrome and how to disable JavaScript in Google Chrome.
Disable images when you browse the internet can save bandwidth and improve internet speed, especially for dial-up and slow-connection user, unfortunately we are yet to see this feature (disable images) on Google Chrome, because of this many people remove their chrome from computer ![]()
With Startup Switches tips, disable images, disable javascript and disable pop-up blocker in google chrome are possible.
I have to do is create three Chrome StartUp Switch (short-cut) on Desktop, first for Normal Chrome, second for Chrome with disable images and third for Chrome with disable JavaScript, like this:

To create StartUp Switch, create a chrome shot-cut on desktop, right click the short cut, select Properties, choose Short Cut tab, in the Target field add this command line “–disable-images” -without quote- in the end of path (chrome.exe), then apply/ok – see image
now you can run google chrome in disable images mode.

With same way, add following command-line to disable javascript and disable pop-up blocker on Google chrome:
–disable-javascript
–disable-popup-blocking
With disable images on Chrome, I can save bandwidth and more internet speed.

Here is how you do it without adding any command lines, or having to restart Chrome just to disable images.
Go to Options,
then click on the “Under the Hood” tab,
Then, select “Content Settings…” towards the top, right below where it says “Privacy”,
Then click on Images, and select the “Do not show any images” button,
Optionally add any exceptions, and then close. And there you have it, no images displayed in Chrome. No restarting, no adding a command to a shortcut.
Similarly, you can disable java script, etc..
