Microsoft has released a service pack 2 for the 2007 Microsoft Office suites, Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) offers major performance enhancements for Office applications and bug fixes, read detail release notes and Description of 2007 Microsoft Office Service Pack 2 here.
Microsoft Office 2007 SP2 is available to download as a standalone installer. You can also update Office 2007 through Windows Update (recommended by Microsoft) or order it on a DVD.
Before installing this office service pack 2, strongly encouraged to read 953334, which describes some big improvements introduced by SP2.
