 Garmin nuvi 255W Review | 4.3 Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator Garmin nuvi 255W is quite an improvement over its predecessors in the Garmin nuvi 200 series of GPS navigators, Garmin add some significant improvements with this 255W series, It features predictive technology that provides faster satellite lock, a redesigned screen with more information, terrain maps, and an exciting new photo navigation feature.

Garmin Nuvi 255W has 4.3″ WQVGA TFT screen (same with Nuvi 855 and Nuvi 780) with a 480 x 272 resolution, and white backlight which makes it sun-readable and will not hurt your eyes.

The Garmin Nuvi 255W also features voice prompts via the internal speaker, it will inform you when to turn left and on which street, custom POIs, and Where I Am? feature which will inform users of the nearest hospital, police station etc.
