Sanyo has announced the LP-XU106 Ultra portable projector that weighs under 4kg,  featuring 4,500 lumens with 275-W high-output lamp and high contrast ratio of 1000:1 which enable to producte 40-inch to 300-inch screen size.

Sanyo LP-XU106 features Corner Keystone Correction Function, and a wide-range 1.6X zoom lens, It takes the lead in situations where the projector cannot be placed directly in front of the screen. The Auto Keystone Correction function automatically corrects vertical image distortion, after detecting the slope of the projector. The new LP-XU106 will be on sale from November 20, 2009.

  • Wired LAN terminal (RJ-45) enables the control and management of the projector over a network
  • ‘Vertical/Horizontal Keystone Correction Function’ *4 and ‘360-Degree Tilt Angle’ *5 for more flexible setup possibilities
  • Presentation Timer Function’ enables well-paced presentations, through the display of elapsed time
  • Freeze Function’ allows the screen image to be paused
  • Color-board Mode’ and ‘Blackboard Mode’ realize normal projection on colored walls or school blackboards
  • On-start Function’ that turns on the projector when the power cord is plugged in, without having to use the remote control or projector buttons.
  • Power-off and Go Function’ allows the power cord to be pulled out without waiting for cooling down
