The cameras with this system are the model UWDC25 which they say is weatherproof, but in the manual it says not to expose them to rain. That to me is not very weatherproof and I would consider them useless for outside use.

Largely Video Surveillance cameras are used for protection. The main problem however is that there is those who reject the use of these cameras particularly in public placed due to privacy question. It is an ongoing dispute where people don’t want video surveillance cameras everywhere because it violates their freedom.

The Uniden UDW-20055 wireless video surveillance runs on 2.4Ghz frequency so you should watch out so you don’t have other wireless devices that run on the same frequency.

Other than that it will do it’s job just fine, it’s very easy to install and you can check it at anytime with a computer and a network connection
