The new Dell Latitude XT2 XFR (ruggedized version of Latitude XT2) is smallest  rugged convertible tablet PC that can stand up to drops, spills and temperature extremes, It is also the first rugged tablet PC with capacitive multi-touch screen enabling even more natural gestures for scrolling, panning, rotating or zooming.

Latitude XT2 XFR is engineered to meet MIL-810G standards for operation in harsh environments, compression-sealed and rugged I/O doors, LCD, and keyboard, provide an IP54 level of Ingress Protection, or resistance to moisture and dust.

The system, XT2 XFR is powered by 1.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 processor, upgradeable to 5GB of RAM, 160GB disk or optional 64 or 128GB solid state disk. Its 12.1 inches diagonally 16:10 display offer 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Other features include Windows Vista Businnes operating system, Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, Dell wireless 1397 802.11b/g mini card and 4 or 6 cell primary battery.
