This the biggest piece of junk I have used in 20 years. I have and am still having many issues with this laptop. I am not sure if they are a Toshiba or window 7 issues but according to Microsoft its Toshiba responsibility since they make changes to the windows program. I am having several issues some small but bothersome and some not so small. Every time I have contacted Toshiba tech support their answer is to reimage the computer (take it back to out of the box configuration). This is a very long and painful process. In some instances it corrects them for a short time and they return. The latest issue was just a few days ago. I am running a Toshiba dynadock docking station, I shut down the system and when I started it up again both screen were black, I tried everything I could think of but still no screens. I disconnected from the docking station but still a black screen. A suggestion from an IT person at work suggested I disconnect the power and battery and hold down the power button this did not work. I then contacted Toshiba; their first suggestion was to disconnect the battery. I explained have done this several times. At this time all they said they could do is reimage it. Well this is not something I wanted to hear again. I asked if using the backup image I created would work. He said no, he has worked there for a long time and that would be their only suggestion. I then asked to speak to a manager, he put me on hold and finely came back and said they were busy and they would call me back, that was 3 days ago! So in the meantime I had nothing better to do so try my backup. Looks like it worked to me. At this point I would not recommend this unit at all and have reservations about Toshibas tech support.
