A couple of years ago I bought a blender based on how well I thought it would do when it came to blending something like cooked cauliflower to make imitation mashed potatoes. Because of the disaster that turned out to be, the maker of said blender shall remain nameless. It now resides in a cabinet cupboard under the kitchen counter gathering dust.
